This position is an exciting part-time opportunity for a results-driven communications guru to unleash their skills in a young, dynamic and innovative company. The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism/communications and should have a desire to "create a presence" for Q1Group. Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, self-motivation and a fascination for the internet are a must.
Compensation is based on experience and is negotiable. This position is not location bound.

Objective
This objective of this role is to initiate, manage and optimize all corporate communications. This includes press releases, marketing materials, and web-content for Q1Group. This person will also participate in design, implementation and management of client communication and marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities
The following responsibilities may be engages for our on efforts or for those of our clients:
- Write press releases.
- Build relationships with online/offline publishers.
- Write advertising copy, and sales letters.
- Co-coordinate efforts in developing the corporate image.
- Work with content writers to finalize web-content.
- Work with software development team when necessary. (ex: Write and optimize auto-responder sequences.)
- Actively market each new product to the appropriate Websites, blogs, magazines, and develop direct marketing strategies.
- Initiate and follow up with clients to determine satisfaction with products/services.
- Launch and manage new marketing initiatives
- Generate ideas to innovative and help differentiate us and our clients

- Answer incoming email inquiries (primarily insurance related).
- Recognize and forward difficult emails to a licensed agent.
- Prepare / send / follow-up on quotes / plan comparisons
- Follow-up on policy issues.
